Officials are searching for two men wanted for robbing a business in East Bakersfield.

At about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Metro Patrol Division were sent to a business at 2344 Niles Street in east Bakersfield regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred.

When deputies arrived they spoke to the victim. He said that he had been robbed at gunpoint by two suspects he described as:
 

• Black male, 30 years old, 6’1”, 250 lbs., bald head with a beard, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans
• Black male, 20 years old, 5’11”, 180 lbs., bald head, wearing a black flat brim baseball hat

The victim indicated one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and assaulted him during the robbery. The suspects stole marijuana from the victim and then fled in a vehicle described as a silver Kia Soul with an unknown license plate.
