A Bakersfield Police sergeant hit nothing but net in a short video posted to Twitter Saturday night.

Local high school seniors Moises Rodriguez, Alan Cano, Kevin Sobrinas, and Alex Gonzalez were playing basketball at Planz Park Saturday night around 10 p.m. when the sergeant showed up for another call.

The nine second video shows an unidentified sergeant, in full uniform, sinking a a free throw with confidence.

The person behind the camera can be heard encouraging the officer, "You a hooper my guy, you a hooper" as the sergeant confidently throws up a free throw shot.

Those watching shouted with excitement as the sergeant drained the two-point shot.

The sergeant, with a smile on his face, grabs his baton back from the person with the camera and said "nothing but net" before calmly walking off.
