Woman assaulted in Southwest Bakersfield after vehicle hit by suspect

A victim was assaulted Thursday afternoon after meeting with the driver of a vehicle who hit her car from behind.

Around 3:20 p.m., the victim was driving away from Bank of American on 3800 Ming Ave. when her vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle.

The two drivers agreed to meet at a nearby Carl’s Jr. at 2412 Ming Ave. to exchange insurance information, where the suspect violently assaulted the victim.

The second suspect, described as a black male, removed items from the victim’s vehicle.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, around 5’10” and 220 pounds wearing a black button up shirt and red shorts. The suspects were driving a black Mercedes.
