It’s hard to believe that the year 2020 will mark 25 years since Alanis Morissette released her “Jagged Little Pill” album. The performer’s 2020 was already pretty busy before the tour announced. Themusical “Jagged Little Pill” opens this week on Broadway in New York and her eighth album “Such Pretty Forks in the Road” is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2020. The latest single from that anticipated album was released yesterday! Morissette took to Instagram to promote the song “Reasons I Drink.”

Morissette’s new song and album are the first new recordings from the artist in eight years. She has been open with the media about her struggles with post-partum depression. She and her husband Mario Treadway welcomed their third child, Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway on August 8, 2019.
