Austin Westfall joined KERO in July of 2019. He was born and raised in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Westfall Graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism where he majored in journalism and mass communication.

Westfall has completed internships at Hawaii News Now, The Arizona Republic, and KJZZ, the NPR station in Phoenix, Arizona. He previously worked as a digital journalist for The Signal, a community newspaper serving the Santa Clarita Valley.

When not at work, Westfall is a big NBA fan, and geeks out on late-night talk shows.
