BAKERSFIELD, CA. — A Bakersfield man has been arrested in connection to the murder of two women from three decades ago, according to the Burbank Police Department.

Officials said Horace Vaultz Jr, 64, was taken into custody for the 1986 murder of Mary Susan Duggan and 1981 murder of Selena Keough.

According to investigators, Duggan's murder remained unsolved for 33 years. Officials said she was brutally attacked and found dead in a trunk of a car in Burbank on June 9, 1986. She was 22 years old at the time.
