BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield City School District will be closed Friday, due to an Academic Conference Day.
School staff will meet for the purposes of professional development, collaboration and planning and preparation. According to the district, staff members will discuss methods to improve excellence in education and services to students.
During this time, they will also be looking to improve program services and systems for all students.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, they are encouraged to call their student's school principal.
