BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police cracked down on impaired driving and improper licensing Tuesday night.
The DUI and driver's license checkpoint was held from 6 p.m. Tuesday until midnight on Wednesday.
One person was arrested for driving under the influence, and officers cited 20 drivers for driving without a license or suspended license.
One motorist was also arrested for driving a reported stolen vehicle.
According to BPD, 1,031 vehicles were screened by officers.
