BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a homicide in Southwest Bakersfield.

BPD said it happened just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of McDonald Way.

A man was found dead inside an apartment, according to police. There is no suspect information at this time.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
