UPDATE 10/06/19 10:16 a.m.: The woman who died has been identified as Sara Marie Bustamante, according to the Kern County Coroners Office.

A woman's body was found in South Bakersfield near Tommy's Liquor Store on 2500 S. Chester Avenue, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

Officials said crews responded just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning. Detectives are currently on scene investigating. There is no suspect information at this time.
