BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE 7:07 a.m.: BPD Officials confirmed that the man found dead in Central Bakersfield is a victim of a stabbing.
Bakersfield Police officials said they responded to reports of a man down in Central Bakersfield just after 1 a.m. Saturday.
When officials arrived on scene in the 1100 block of 30th Street, they found a deceased adult man and officials said as of now they are investigating this as a suspicious death.
The cause of death is unknown at this time and there is no suspect information.
BPD was still on scene as of 3:30 a.m. investigating.
