BPD: Man stabbed in Southwest Bakersfield Friday night

BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Bakersfield Police said they are investigating a stabbing that happened in Southwest Bakersfield Friday night.

According to officials, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near the intersection of McDonald Way and Norseman Street just after 9 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man with moderate injuries from what appeared to be a stabbing. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No suspect information has been released yet. Anyone with information, is asked to call BPD at 327-7111.
