BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Bakersfield Police are investigating a shooting at the Rosedale Inn in Central Bakersfield.

According to officials, a victim was shot inside one of the hotel rooms.

We do not have a victim description at this time, but police said the person sustained moderate injuries.

Police said two suspects, both men, ran away from the scene but were detained shortly after.

There was a heavy police presence in the area of the Costco parking lot and Carl's Jr. off Rosedale Highway as they searched for the suspects.

The surrounding businesses were not impacted, according to officials.
