BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE 11/4/2019 at 11:35 p.m.

According to the PG&e outages website, power has been restored to all but 12 Bakersfield customers.

According to PG&E's website the number of customers impacted by the outage has been reduced to 1,501. Crews are reportedly on scene figuring out the cause of the outage.

Pacific Gas & Electric has reported over 5,000 customers in Central and South Bakersfield have been without power since about 4:45 p.m. Monday.

According to its website, PG&E has assigned a crew to "assess the outage" that is impacting 5,297 customers.

The estimated restoration time is around 8 p.m. Monday, according to PG&E's website.
