CALIFORNIA CITY, CA. — California City police are investigating a social media post that started circulating Friday night.

Officials said they received concerned calls from parents regarding the post that warned students not to go to California City High School next week.

The post was based of off rumors from students about a possible threat of school violence, according to police.

Investigators are working with school officials and will update people as more information becomes available.
