BAKERSFIELD, CA. (KERO) — BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian off Edison Hwy in East Bakersfield.

The incident occurred around 8:45 pm Thursday. Edison Highway from Chamberlain Ave to Exchange St is closed as the investigation is underway. There is no estimated time that the road will reopen.
