BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Classic car enthusiast got a chance to get into the holiday spirit early with the First Annual Toy Run.
The local car club Backyard Boogie is hosting the event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Quality Inn & Suite parking lot at 4500 Buck Owens Blvd. The entrance fee for the car owners to show off their hot rods or classic cars was an unwrapped toy.
Along with the cool cars, the Toy Run featured free pictures with Santa Claus, two bounce houses, food, drinks and music.
All toys from the car show will benefit the Bakersfield Jamison Center.
