Community shows support for inaugural 23ABC Bakersfield Baby Shower

BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The community stepped up and showed support for the inaugural 23ABC Bakersfield Baby Shower Thursday.

23ABC collected supplies for local organizations that help vulnerable children and babies in Kern County.

All donations will go to the Jameson Children's Center, The Mission at Kern County and the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center.

"Bakersfield is always one to come together, so it is unity and I think that is what Bakersfield should be proud of," said Bakersfield resident Norma Rodriguez, as she dropped of supplies.

This amazing event was made possible through our partners Hall Ambulance and Express Pharmacy.

23ABC would also like to to thank Dignity Health, Walmart, Assemblyman Vince Fong, Assemblyman Rudy Salas, Ben Patton Arm Forces Support Foundation, Senator Shannon Grove, Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Mayor Karen Goh, the Bakersfield Police Department, Bakersfield California Highway Patrol, J&M's Party Supplies & Decorating, Covenant Coffee, Memorial Hospital and Little Caesars Pizza.
