BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — 23ABC along with their parent company E.W. Scripps are starting an initiative called #TakeoutTuesdays to encourage people to eat out to support the restaurants in our community and also practicing social distancing.
This initiative brings awareness to how the restaurant industry is struggling during this pandemic. The industry estimates up to 7 million people will lose their jobs in the next three months.
