BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Adventist Health will be offering free flu shots at a clinic at 29th Street and Chester Ave. on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.
The clinic starts at 7 a.m. and is for adults 18 and older. Pediatric flu shots are unavailable.
Patients should wear a mask while getting a shot.
Adventist Health Bakersfield is also offering free childhood immunizations against vaccine-preventable diseases throughout October.
On Monday, Oct. 4th, vaccines will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Food Maxx on Ming Avenue and Thursday, Oct. 4th, at Walmart on Colony Street during the same times.
