BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Being a caretaker can take a lot of skills and knowledge. That's why the City of Bakersfield and the American Red Cross are teaming up to host free pediatric CPR and first aid courses.
There's a course happening every month from now through March. The first is happening this Saturday, Jan. 11.
The next dates are:
- Saturday, Feb. 8
- Saturday, March 21
The course run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McMurtrey Aquatic Center. Classes are open to parents, grandparents, expectant parents and all other childcare providers.
