BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This holiday season, you can give back to the youth in-need in our community at the 3rd annual 'Kissmas' teen gift drive.

The community is invited to bring gifts for teens and pre-teens, ages 11 and older, to be donated to the Bakersfield Homeless Center. Organizers are asking for items such as clothes, skateboards, makeup, headphones or school supplies.

The event is centered around the famous band KISS and attendee are encouraged to dress up. Event organizer Marc De Leon said the band event donated to the cause one year with merchandise, CD's and posters.

Along with a fundraiser there will be raffles, costumes, and it wouldn't be 'Kissmas' without DJ Enrique Garcia blasting KISS classics throughout the day!

Gifts donated at the event will not only go to celebrate the holidays, but will be gifted throughout the year for birthdays, special occasions, and celebrating academic achievements.

It's taking place Saturday at the Chuy's Mesquite Broiler on 8660 Rosedale Highway. It runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
