BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — September is National Recovery Month. It is a time focused on education Americans on substance abuse and mental health services. And right here in town, Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is inviting the community out Saturday to their annual Celebrating Recovery event.

The event takes place at Central Park at Mill Creek from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
