BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Donut Run brought dozens out last year to run for a sweet treat, and now it's back!

The second annual Bakersfield Donut Run returns this Sunday at the Park at Riverwalk.

There's two events in this run, the 5K run and the 2K walk, both of which cost $40 to register. For kids 9 years and younger, they can enter the race for $25.

The run will start at 9 a.m. and all participants receive a doughnut themed shirt, custom doughnut finishers medal, coffee and doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme is the sponsor of the 2020 Donut Run in Bakersfield.
