BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — It's time to start thinking about those New Year's resolutions and here's one that lets you help others.
Donate blood in January and you have the chance to win a year-long gym membership, courtesy of Houchin Community Blood Bank and Kern Family Health Care.
The blood bank said all donors in January will be entered to win one of four available memberships to the gym of their choice.
To be entered, all you have to do is donate at either Houchin donor center or donate at any Houchin Community blood drive during January.
A winner will be selected every Monday in January from the previous week's donors.
Blood donors must be in good health, weigh 110 pounds, and be 17 years of age or older. 16 year olds can donate with parental consent.
