California Highway Patrol launches CHiPS for Kids toy drive

The annual CHiPS for Kids toy drive is put together by local CHP officers who collect new, unwrapped toys and other items for infants, tots, and teens. The drive starts November 18th and runs until December 16th and toys collected from the drive will benefit local children ages 0 to 16.

During the holidays the California Highway Patrol is out in full force making sure no child is forgotten this Christmas.

The annual CHiPS for Kids toy drive is put together by local CHP officers who collect new, unwrapped toys and other items for infants, tots, and teens. The drive starts November 18th and runs until December 16th and toys collected from the drive will benefit local children ages 0 to 16.

You can bring your new and unwrapped toy to the CHP office on Compagnoni Street., Motor City (in the auto mall), both Carneceria La Carreta locations, all local Walgreens stores and right here at KERO 23 News Station at 321 21st Street.

On Friday, December 6th CHP will be downtown on the corner of Chester Ave and 28th Street from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. for their toy drop off event.
