BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This week California Highway Patrol Buttonwillow, delivered food and bottled water to seniors who are sheltered at home.

CHP Buttonwillow is asking residents if they know a senior or a high-health risk person who is sheltered at home in western Kern County, and doesn't have someone nearby to check on them regularly to let them know, and they will do their best to check on them.

Water was donated personally by the officers at Buttonwillow CHP.
