Kern County is showing off its holiday spirit all over the area and Thursday night one local high school is getting in on the fun. Students at Bakersfield Christian High School will unveil their annual Colors of Christmas.
The free community event will light up the campus with decorations and a luminaria path for guests to follow. Showcasing live Christmas music, children's activities, a live nativity scene, and an outdoor drama. The high school's wind ensemble, jazz, and show choir and chamber groups are also set to perform.
Organizers say last year the event brought out nearly 2,000 people.
Colors of Christmas will start at 6 p.m.
