BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you want to get some exercise while having fun with your friends and family, Thursday night is the Full Moon Bike Ride.

The event starts at 7 p.m at Beach Park. The ride will follow the Kern River Parkway Trail west from Beach Park and turn south at California State University Bakersfield, continue on the bike path through the CSUB campus, and end at The Marketplace.

People of all ages are encouraged to head out. Event-goers are strongly recommended to wear a helmet and a front-facing headlamp.
