BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The community is invited to fight hunger at the Kern County Fair tonight. The Community Action Partnership of Kern is partnering with the Kern County Fair to collect food for those struggling with hunger.

CAPK will be collecting donated food at the three fair entrances. It's for their Feed the Need food drive from 3 to 9 p.m.

And a perk for fair-goers: bring in four or more cans of unexpired food during the drive and get into the fair for free!

Volunteers are still needed, anyone interested can call 398-4520.
