If you’ve recovered from COVID-19 or have a family member or friend who has recovered you are in a special position to help Kern County fight this pandemic.
Many people don’t know that the plasma from your blood has antibodies that can help patients fight COVID-19.
From August 31st to September 4th you can help by donating Plasma at both Houchin Community Blood Bank locations. And as a token of appreciation, you’ll receive a $50 gift card, plus be entered into a daily drawing of $250. At the end of the drive, all donors will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing to win $1,000. All prizes will be issued in the form of a Visa gift card.
