KERN COUNTY, Calif. — October will start off busy for Job Fest Kern County as they hold two career fairs in the first week.
On October 2nd, Job Fest Kern will be in Lebec for the Tejon Ranch Commerce Center Job Fair.
The commerce-centered job fair will feature major distribution companies such as Caterpillar and Dollar General. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tejon Ranch Commerce Center located at 5821 Dennis McCarthy Drive in Lebec. The job fair is an opportunity for job seekers to "meet with the hiring managers from multiple distribution centers, food service, and other industries, all at one location."
Then, in cooperation with the Bakersfield Adult School, Job Fest Kern will be holding a Medical Career & Resource Fair on Thursday, October 3rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Among the employers planning to attend include major healthcare companies such as Kern Medical, Omni Health, Clinica Sierra Vista, BioMat, and Bakersfield Family Medical Center. In addition to employers, there will also be multiple training resources. The event will take place at the Kern Agricultural Pavilion at 3300 E. Belle Terrace in Bakersfield.
