BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern Radiology has teamed up with local businesses to off free screening mammograms on a first-come, first-served basis on Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free screenings will take place at Kern Radiology, 9330 Stockdale Highway, Suite 100.
To schedule a free screening mammogram, registration is required, please call or text (661) 281-8760 by Oct. 14.
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Fortunately, when detected early, it is also one of the most treatable. The best protection is early detection, it can save your life.

To be eligible for a free screening:
Must be at least 40 years old
No health insurance
Must be a resident of Kern County
No previous mammogram in the last year
Must have a physician so we can send a report
