BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's, Bakersfield Police Department and they Wasco Sheriff's Activities Leagues are free hosting a youth boxing event this Saturday.

There will be 16 bouts with youth boxers and youth gyms are also invited to participate. There will also be a $5 taco plate and a 50/50 raffle. The event is free and open to the public.

It's happening Saturday at 11 a.m. at Edison Middle School Gymnasium, located at 11518 School Street.
