BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Friday, September 20th Sparkling Image Car Wash of Bakersfield is hosting a fundraiser for Kern Environmental Education Program (Camp KEEP).
According to their website, the Kern Environmental Education Program "offers Residential Outdoor Science Education for 5th and 6th graders at two separate and beautiful coastal campuses: KEEP Ocean in Montaña de Oro State Park and KEEP By The Sea in Arroyo Grande. Here, students use the natural environment as a living laboratory. Children learn about ecological concepts while they explore and study a variety of ecosystems through first-hand experiences."
During the fundraiser, Sparkling Image will donate 50 percent of proceeds to the KEEP Foundation. Over the years, Sparkling Image has donated over $90,000 through its fundraiser.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Camp Keep for the tenth year,” said Joe Solis, Marketing Director for Sparkling Image, in a statement. “They do such great work. We’re so proud to be affiliated with this organization.”
Sparkling Image Car Wash has several locations in Bakersfield, including H Street, Stockdale Highway, and Rosedale Highway.
