BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Peace and non-violence. Those were among the pillars of Mahatma Gandhi's work and teachings in India.
To remember Gandhi's life and message California State University Bakersfield hosted a peace march and non-violence festival on their campus Saturday.
The four hour event started with yoga before marchers walked around the campus. The key note speaker of the event, Eisha Mason talked about the importance of taking Gandhi's message and applying it to your every day life as well as the importance of love.
