BAKERSFIELD, CA. — On Friday, just after midnight, Kern County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting on the 4000 block of Niles Street in East Bakersfield.
KCSO officials said when deputies arrived on scene, they found one man suffering from moderate injuries with a gun shot wound to the leg.
Another man was found dead in the center median on Niles Street, just west of Mccurdy Street.
There is no suspect information at this time. KCSO is currently investigating.
