Not even a month after announcing the return of "American Idol," the hit singing reality show is now looking for contestants.
On Monday morning, Katy Perry, who has signed on to be one of the judges, announced on Good Morning America that the show is now accepting audition videos.

For those looking to go the traditional route, "American Idol" announced its list of live auditions as the show tours the country.
Closest to Bakersfield will be an audition in Oakland in August.
The live auditions begin Aug. 17 in Portland, Oregon.
Last month it was announced that "American Idol" would be returning to TV on ABC.
