A dog that appeared in well-recognized commercials for Bush's Baked Beans has died after battling an aggressive form of cancer.

The dog's real name was Sam, and its owner Susan said the dog died last week in Apopka, Florida.

Susan trains animals to be in commercials, according to a social media post by a friend of the family that cared for Sam.
