BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — Twitter users may soon be able to edit their tweets, but there's a catch.

In a podcast interview on the Joe Rogan Experience, Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, said the platform is "looking at" allowing users to edit their tweets. However, the original version of an edited tweet will still be visible.

In 2017, Twitter expanded their character limit to 280 characters, breaking their signature 140-character limit.

Dorsey did not indicate if or when an edit feature will be launched.
