BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you watched the Netflix docuseries "Making a Murderer" then you'll love this new podcast.

Launching on Feb. 19, Wrongful Conviction False Confessions is a 13-episode podcast that tells the story of twelve real false confessions, using actual audiotapes from inside the interrogation room. The podcast will be hosted by Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin, famed attorneys, co-directors at Northwestern University’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, and central figures in "Making a Murderer."

According to creators, the Wrongful Conviction False Confessions podcast asks and answers the question: why would an innocent person confess to a crime he didn’t commit?
