BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — One local 9-year-old is using her birthday to improve the lives of some furry friends!
Leilani Munson has a passion for helping dogs. For her birthday, instead of having a party, she decided to host a free dog show at Almondale Park in Northwest Bakersfield and help find some fur-ever homes for local dogs.
Munson says when she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian.
