SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Dog shelters can be stressful for our canine companions as their wait to find their 'fur-ever' homes, but a group of women in Sacramento found a way to soothe the furry friends at the Front Street Animal Shelter.
The shelter posted a video to their Facebook page showing the women playing the ukulele for the dogs, and they said the soothing tunes really worked!
After just a few songs, the loud, chaotic kennel fell silent and most of the howling dogs eventually fell asleep.
It seems that these dogs find music just as calming as people do.
