KERNVILLE, Calif. — February 15th marks the first day of Whiskey Flat Days a festival in Kernville celebrating their 62nd Anniversary traveling back in time.
This year's theme is Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats. Whiskey Flat Days are open Friday, February 15th through Monday, February 18th from 8 a.m. until sunset located at 11447 Kernville Rd. Kernville, California 93238.
There are vendors with food and homemade goods, a carnival, a rodeo and reenactment of Kernville 150 years ago, called the Wild West Encampment. Coordinators said this encampment is the largest in California.
The Whiskey Flat Days festival is free to attend. The only tickets required are for the rodeo and the carnival rides.
The Wild West Daze Rodeogates open at 12 p.m.
February 16th and February 17th. Tickets for adults are $15, for kids $10 and anyone under eight-years-old is free. Parking is an additional $5.
Carnival Ride Tickets are $15 dollars for 24 tickets and $30 for an unlimited wrist band.
