BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County coroner has identified 24-year-old Andres Villa Ayala as the victim of a fatal shooting in McFarland.
On June 21 around 9:30 p.m., officials say they were dispatched to the area of Elmo Highway and Driver Road for reports of a possibly deceased person. When KCSO deputies arrived they found Ayala suffering from trauma.
A postmortem examination was completed on Ayala and officials determined his cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds and the manner is homicide.
