WASCO, Calif (KERO) — One man is dead after a shooting in Wasco Saturday Afternoon
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies from the Wasco Substation responded to the 1500 block of Poplar Avenue for a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found an unresponsive man lying on the sidewalk, sufffering trauma to his upper torso. He was declared dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and took over the investigation.
