Kyle Hicks joined The E.W. Scripps Company as a national digital content producer in 2019. In this role, he reports on many different topics and his articles appear on the websites of the company’s 60 TV stations.

On any given day, Hicks may report on the latest political dealings, big updates in the COVID-19 pandemic, feel-good stories and more. He’s especially passionate about writing about climate change, the LGBTQ+ community and the entertainment industry.

Hicks is based in Denver now, but he previously wrote for WXIN and WTTV in Indianapolis from 2016 to 2019. Before that, he began his career in journalism at WFIE in Evansville after graduating from Indiana University in 2015.
