FERNDALE, Mich. — Two Ferndale, Michigan restaurants have installed air-conditioned dog houses outside in an effort to make them more dog-friendly.

DogSpot has the houses outside of Pop's For Italian and Rosie O'Grady's in Ferndale.

The houses feature both heat and air conditioning, use UV lights to kill bacteria in between uses, a puppy cam to watch the dog on your phone and they are remotely monitored, which means you can keep tabs on your pup at all times.

The company also talks about how they are designed to fit most dogs comfortable, with dimensions of 46.5 inches tall, 33.5 inches in diameter and 30 inches wide.

There is also an app where you can locate DogSpots in the area, reserve a space up to 15 minutes in advance, unlock it directly from your phone and monitor it while you're inside.
