BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Cal State Bakersfield officially opened a new center on campus that will provide free legal services for undocumented students and employees.

CSUB unveiled their new Dream Resource Center, located inside the Multicultural Alliance and Gender Equity Center building within Student Housing West. Students and employees will be able to meet with an attorney for a consultation on matters ranging from Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals to helping students' immediate family members.

Legal services are being provided by the non-profit Immigrant Legal Defense.

Appointments will be available twice a month.

CSUB is among over 20 other CSU campuses offering immigration legal services to students and employees across the state.
