BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Former President George W. Bush and Former First Lady Laura Bush will make their way to Bakersfield for Hoffmann Hospice Voices of Inspiration event, a representative confirmed.

The event is set to take place on Thursday April 30, 2020 and will feature the 43rd president and his wife as keynote speakers. Hoffmann Hospice's website describes the event as a "... signature fund-raising event raises vital funds for Hoffmann Hospice’s programs and services throughout Kern County."

Event guests will get to enjoy a social hour with entertainment, cocktails, raffle opportunities and dinner, followed by a moderated discussion with keynote speakers.

This year's event featured actor Mark Wahlberg and in 2018 singer and actress Reba McEntire.

According to Hoffmann Hospice's website, the event will take place at Rabobank Theater and Convention Center.
